How I Helped a Blast and Ballistic Security Specialists Generate More Leads
The purpose of this case study is to showcase how my targeted SEO strategy helped a blast and ballistic company to generate more leads through investing in SEO.

Who Are Premier SSL?
Premier SSL are a local company who are based in Hainault Business Park, Ilford. They supply security doors, windows, glass, access control and entry security systems to main contractors throughout the UK, the Far East and the Middle East.

Initial Contact
My website development partner Mike of Improve Media stated that Premier SSL, who is his web hosting client, needed SEO and other improvements to be made to their website.
After carrying out some brief SEO analysis on their website I had a discovery call with Mike, Neil Johns (MD of Premier) and Lee Horton (Marketing Manager of Premier) to discuss some of the challenges that they faced as well as the areas of their business that they were looking to expand on.


Understanding Premiers Challenges
During the discovery call, Mike and I learned that Premier had a desire to sell more of their premium security products however the challenge that they were facing was that they were struggling to attract customers who were interested in their higher-value and more premium products. Our SEO analysis revealed that the website’s structure and content weren’t effectively optimised to highlight these offerings or guide visitors toward making a purchase.
Recommended Solutions
Following the discovery call, I conducted an SEO audit of Premier’s website while keeping their challenges and goals in focus. Based on the findings, I recommended a complete SEO and content strategy, which Mike then packaged and presented to Neil and Lee at Premier SSL.
Once they agreed on the package which best suited their pricing and business needs, Mike and I began working with Premier the following month.
Onboarding And Fulfilment
After Premier had agreed to form an SEO partnership with Mike and I, we began he onboarding process which included getting access to their Google Search Console and Google Analytics which took 15 minutes.
At the start of the campaign I detailed how the website would be restructured before producing SEO optimised content, advice on technical fixes and organising digital PR efforts each month. All of the work that was completed was strategised to help Neil and Lee achieve their goals of acquiring more customers who wanted to purchase their more premium security products.




SEO Performance
Domain Authority
Domain Authority is the metric which Google uses to trust a website’s credibility. The higher a website’s domain authority is, the easier ranking becomes. Through digital PR, we improved Premier’s DA from 14 to 18 in 8 months which we see as an extremely positive improvement.

Lead Volume
Using data it is estimated that the number of leads that were generated through the website due to our SEO implementations was about 5%.

Average Engagement Time
Average Engagement time is how long users stay on the website for before leaving or submitting an enquiry. The increase of engagement time by 10.88 seconds shows that the content connected with viewers as they stayed for much longer periods of time, signalling that they enjoyed the content and found it useful.

Engagement Rate
We increased Premier’s engagement rate by 7.78%, showing users found the content more valuable. This positive signal also boosts credibility in Google’s eyes, supporting stronger SEO performance.
